Iran doc 'Owsia’ qualifies for Ethiopia Festival

Iran documentary ‘Owsia’ (Darkened Water) by Alireza Dehghan has qualified for the12th Addis International Film Festival in Ethiopia.

‘Owsia’ tells the story of a 2500-year-old Aqueduct which is a living UNESCO heritage.

The doc has so far grabbed several awards at national festivals and international awards.

In 2017, Dehghan’s documentary ‘Owsia’ was honored at Trenton Film Festival in US.

Addis International Film Festival is to promote films that bring awareness to major local and global issues

The 12th edition of Addis Film Festival is slated for May 1-6, 2018 in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa.
